HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR LASU AGGREGATE SCORE - DeeSwift

Before you dive into calculating your lasu screening aggregate you need to ensure your JAMB subject combination matches the requirements on the LASU portal to avoid disqualification during the screening process. Failure to do so can result in losing your admission opportunity.

UNDERSTANDING HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR SCREENING AGGREGATE

Let's say Deeswift is applying for the Nursing program with a JAMB score of 275.

Here are his O-Level grades in the 5 core subjects required for the course:

Maths: A1
English: B2
Physics: A1
Chemistry: A1
Biology: B2

To calculate the total O-Level points:

Maths: 10 points
English: 9 points
Physics: 10 points
Chemistry: 10 points
Biology: 9 points
Adding these together gives a total O-Level score of 48 points.

For the UTME score calculation:

275 / 8 = 34.375

The combined total screening aggregate point is:
48 (O-Level) + 34.375 (UTME) = 82.375, which rounds to 82.4%
Therefore, Deeswift's total screening aggregate point after submitting the institution application form is 82.4%, which is a very good  score for a course like Nursing.
