UNDERSTANDING LASU STREAM 1 AND 2 FEES

Lagos State University (LASU) offers two main admission modes for prospective undergraduate students known as STREAM 1 and STREAM 2.

STREAM 1:
In this admission mode, students receive one certificate upon completion of their undergraduate program at LASU. This is the standard admission process without any additional programs.

Tuition Fees for Stream 1: N90,000

Under this mode, students pay the tuition fee mentioned above, along with an acceptance fee of N30,000 and a medical fee of N30,000. The tuition fee can be paid in two installments, with 70% in the first semester and the remaining 30% in the second semester.

STREAM 2:
Under this mode, students receive two certificates upon completion of their undergraduate program. These students are admitted to study their chosen course along with an entrepreneurship course listed in the admission advertisement.

Tuition Fees for Stream 2: N180,000 per session

The tuition fee for Stream 2 is higher because it includes the entrepreneurship program. Students pay an acceptance fee of N30,000 and a medical fee of N30,000. Similar to Stream 1, the school fees can be paid in two installments, with 50% in the first semester and 50% in the second semester.

The key difference between the two streams is the entrepreneurship program offered in Stream 2.

Note: Students in Stream 1 do not have access to the entrepreneurship program, even if they can afford it. Only students admitted under Stream 2 are eligible for this program.
